 F.A.Q.Q: So, where is Sussex Inlet? A: Sussex Inlet is on the NSW Coast, two hours drive south of Sydney. You reach Sussex Inlet by driving down the Princes Highway and turning at the Sussex Inlet turnoff, around half an hour south of Nowra. It's very well signed, particularly with a impressive gateway feature at the corner. You drive down the road until you hit town, it's really very simple. Q: Where is Holiday with Your Horse?
A: Holiday with Your Horse is on Sussex Inlet Road, the only road into the town of Sussex Inlet. We are on the right hand side of the road 9 kms from the Princes Highway turn off. We have a large sign overlooking the road (click on this picture), so we're easy to find. If you end up in town, you've gone too far! Q: What is the accommodation like? The "Cabin" is currently under construction and will be ready for Christmas. It has its own kitchen, shared amenities and sunny deck area overlooking the paddocks. Its basic and what horse people want. Q: What facilities are available for the horses? A: We have a variety of facilities and these are continuing to develop. We have paddocks that are well fenced, and you can electrify the fences if you desire. We recommend you bring your own electric fencing as well. Horse feed can be ordered on your behalf just let us know your order prior to your arrival. Delivery Day is Wednesday. Q: How much does it cost? A: Accomodation for people starts from $100.00 per night for up to 2 people and accommodation for the horses starts at $10.00 a night. We also have good camping prices. A: As much or as little as you want. On the property itself, you can choose from horse riding, cricket,football, volleyball and bushwalking.Just bring along your own gear. In town, you can try fishing on the river, either in your own boat or hire one. There is a lovely park that stretches along the river and it contains a cycle path, so you can ride or walk along or have a picnic. The surf beach is only 4 kilometres from Holiday with Your Horse and is patrolled Saturdays and Sundays in summer. Swan Lake is renowned as a centre of parasailing and waterskiing, so bring your gear along. And "The Cabin" is just across the road from our eighteen hole golf course, so don't forget the clubs! For entertainment, the town features three clubs (RSL Club, Bowling Club and Sailfish Club) that have bistros and regularly feature live acts. The tavern is also a great place to unwind. If you like fine food, the RSL Club and tavern both have sit down restaurants or you can try either Jopen Cafe or Joanies Cafe or we also have a couple of great PIzza Shops in town. There are some great shops in Sussex Inlet, including the factory shop at the Ocean and Earth factory where you can snag a bargain on great beach wear. So you see, you can have a really relaxing, low key holiday or really rev it up. The choice is yours.
